Theme and branding

Manage the corporate logo, favicon, sign-in page image, colour palette and webmail look (Classic / Air) from the admin console, without copying files.

From top to bottom the screen has the login domains, a live login preview, the logo and image cards, the webmail look and the brand palette.

Applying the Profelis theme to domains

1. Open Tools and Migration › Theme Branding. In the Login domains list tick the domains that should get the Profelis login theme (Select all / Select none are shortcuts). The text on the right shows each domain's current theme.
2. Save with Apply to selected domains. Unticked domains keep their current theme.
3. Restore previous theme returns the domains to the previous theme. Check the result with Open webmail login.

Logo and images

1. In the Logos and images section leave the Apply images to selector on All domains (global) (for per-domain images see below).
2. On the relevant card (Login banner, Application banner, Notification banner, Login background, Favicon) press Replace image and choose the file. It is uploaded as soon as you choose it and the card preview is updated. PNG, JPEG, GIF or ICO are accepted (banners up to 1 MB, background up to 4 MB); SVG is not.
3. Use Restore default to return a card to the shipped image. Hard-reload webmail (Ctrl+Shift+R) to see the change.

The Logos and images cards

Favicon

Upload a square PNG with a transparent background (256×256 or larger). The server produces an ICO with 16, 32, 48 and 64 pixel layers. Choose a simple mark that reads at 16 pixels; a wordmark is not suitable as a favicon.

A different logo and background per domain

The login banner, application banner and login background can differ per domain.

1. Choose the domain in the Apply images to selector.
2. Upload the images on the cards. The domain appears in the Domains with their own images list.
3. Check by hard-reloading the domain's own address.

Images are chosen by address

The image is chosen by the address the browser opened, not by the user's account. Each domain needs its own virtual hostname, DNS record and certificate (see Certificates). If all domains sign in through one address, everyone sees the general image. The favicon, notification banner, palette and webmail look are always global.

Webmail look and brand palette

1. In the Webmail look section Classic Profelis keeps the current design.
2. Profelis Air gives an airier look (system font, rounded surfaces); the layout does not change. The selected look carries the CURRENT label. Clicking a card saves the look at once; users see it when they reload the page.
3. In the Brand palette section clicking a palette applies it at once. The Profelis palette keeps the shipped colours. Users can choose their own accent colour separately with Colour palette.

The look and palette cards have no separate save button; the choice you click applies to all users.

Multi-server installations

Images are not distributed to other mail servers automatically; the screen shows a consistency warning in this case.
